How do you use a Flower Essence?

Add 4 drops to a small cup of water and take 4 sips of that water a day to ensure the cup is consumed each day and a new one is made each morning.

How long do you take a Flower Essence for?

Typically 2-4 weeks or until you forget. That is usually a sign you no longer need that specific essences medicine.

How many Flower Essences can I take at a time?

Maximum 5 at a time, unless the essences are blended together into a combination formula starting at the Mother Essence preparation.

Can I take Flower Essences with other medicines?

These Essences are safe but please check with your healthcare professional if you are concerned.

Do I have to dilute the essence in water?

No, but taking the essence alone versus diluted doesn’t make it stronger or have more of an effect.

How does a Flower Essence work?

Flower Essences are said to have an effect on your emotional well being, subconscious thoughts, tendencies and habits. Originally discovered by Doctor Edward Bach in England in 1930 as a Homeopathic Remedy, Flower Essences are water containing extreme dilutions of flower material. It is said the water retains the healing properties of each flower and may be able to assist with having an effect on our emotional selves.

Within the first few days or weeks you will start to become more conscious of the energies within you that essence is meant to assist with.

For instance if you are taking Rose Flower Essence for a broken heart you may start to think about the heartbreak you experienced, feel nostalgic for that time(s), explore the event(s) in your mind again, dream of the experience(s) etc.. After this period which can take some time to work through...

(*Please seek counseling if you experience any triggering or traumas you might be unable to process on your own during this period*)

...you will begin to move past the nostalgic and reminiscent phase into an awakening.

This awakening phase helps you to become more aware of the lessons of the experiences of your past and feel a deeper understanding as to what actually was experienced, how it led you to your current place and how you might want to make adjustments or settle more comfortably. After this awakening phase you move into the healing period.

The healing period is where you feel like you are ready to work on other areas of your life and that initial focus of healing is no longer a concern for you and you are resolved in that area of your emotional well being.
